Lauren Willoughby
About
Lauren joined Fulmer Sill in September 2021 and brought with her considerable experience in handling various personal injury matters including motor vehicle collisions, trucking collisions, and premises liability cases. In her current role she leads the firm’s pre-litigation personal injury team. She also brings extensive experience litigating trucking cases and thoroughly enjoys diving into discovery issues that are specific to trucking. Lauren is well-versed in the myriad state and federal regulations that make trucking litigation a highly nuanced practice area. Her deep knowledge of the regulations and ability to break down issues makes her highly effective in obtaining favorable outcomes for her clients. Through her membership in the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA), she was afforded the opportunity to receive valuable classroom instruction on the operation of an 18-wheeler and to get behind the wheel of a big-rig at highway speeds. Doing so Lauren gained valuable knowledge and experience that few attorneys in the field possess. This experience is demonstrative of Lauren’s unwavering willingness to learn and gives her an edge when deposing truck drivers and trucking company safety directors. Above all, Lauren is relentless in her commitment to holding trucking companies and insurers accountable and is unwavering in fighting for her clients.
Lauren was recognized as an Oklahoma NexGen Under 30 award winner in the law category in 2022. She has also received recognition from the National Trial Lawyers as a “Top 40 Under 40” award winner in Plaintiff’s civil litigation. She is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA) and Oklahoma Association for Justice (OAJ).
